Primer October family test

Families welcome — join our 7-day at-home playtest

Curiosity today. A kinder tomorrow.

Primer is a new interactive learning adventure for children aged five to seven — an illustrator and a narrator that tells stories, draws the pictures as it goes, and follows what your child is curious about.

We're inviting a small group of families (8–15) to try it at home for seven days this October — spots are limited.

An illustrator and a narrator, not a chatbot.

Every story Primer can tell is written in advance and reviewed by people before your child ever hears it. When your child speaks, Primer listens and picks the next reviewed story path — it never makes up replies on the spot. Ask to chase a puffin where there is none, and it says so — "no puffin on this island, but there are penguins" — and carries on.

Try it: pick what the story does next, the way your child would.

Our bar for October

A child who has never seen Primer gets thirty minutes and wants more. If that's not what you see, we want to know.

What your family gets

—

A free program for mindset growth, language acquisition and scientific exploration, built by child-education specialists.

—

A window on your child — progress observations about what they are curious about and how they are growing.

—

A seat at the table in a community of parents, educators and researchers developing tools grounded in learning science.

What you can expect from us

—

Cost. Nothing. Taking part is free, and nothing is being sold to you.

—

Privacy. Your child's name and anything identifying never leaves your tablet.

—

Scope. We are testing the software, not a device. Everything runs on your own tablet.

What we promise your family

—

Privacy. Your child's name and anything identifying never leaves your tablet. Only story and learning progress is saved.

—

Sessions end. Primer is designed as a session, not an engagement loop — it ends, and sends your child back to the world.

—

Pictures drawn by people. Our own illustration library first; nothing AI-generated is ever shown to a child unreviewed.

—

A parent view, not surveillance. You see what your child is exploring and activities to try together. No scores, grades, or percentiles — ever.

The Parent Window: a child's growth in context, with interests, emerging strengths and activities to try together
The Parent Window: a picture of your child's curiosity, never a test.

Honest about the rough edges

You're seeing Primer early. Three things you may notice — tap each one.
